Jon Perlow, a Gmail engineer, has created this small app called Mail Goggles. Its reason for existence is, that after a night of over indulgence (drinking), your passionate email to the ex-girlfriend might not seem such a good idea after 8 hours sleep, in fact it might’ve been a stupid drunken mistake. Mail Goggles records the time of email creation, and if it’s after 3am it encourages you to reread what you’ve written, and then prompts you to solve five arithmetic problems that appear after pressing send (you choose the difficulty level!)
