Howard Jones

In my ongoing quest of finding the original songs behind used for samples - I found the works of Howard Jones.
My original experience with him was from the house track by:
Mohito ft. Howard Jones - Slip Away (Original Mix) which you can hear below.



I was really impressed by vocals i.e. the aforementioned sample. I looked it up and found Howard Jones and his impressive array of 80's hits. But the one that stuck with me, was 'Like To Get To Know You Well' which was the same song sampled in Mohito's version. You'll hear the sample 1.40 into the song:

Sample Wednesday

Over at Palms Out Sounds they have this nice feature called Sample Wednesday. What they do is locate the samples used in the respective artist's hits and make them available for download. Today it's Armand Van Helden aka the real Ali G.
